An Act of Faith
I believe, My God, that Thou art present in my soul, even though I am nothing. If I were only nothing! But I have offended Thee, rebelled against Thee, and am worse than nothing! I have dishonored Thou, and yet Thou still condescend to dwell in me.
I should be humble, and yet I am full of pride and self-love. My God, in spite of all this, I adore Thee present in my soul.
Yes, I believe without doubting that Thou art living in my soul, and with the help of Thy grace, I hope that my faith will grow so strong that I can be detached from all created things and cling to Thee alone.
With the blind man in the Gospel, I say "Lord, let me receive my sight" (Lk. 18:41). Take away the scales from my eyes, cure me of my blindness, and so dazzle me with the light of Thy presence that I may see Thee in all things and all things in Thee.

An Act of Hope
I hope in Thee, my God, dwelling in my heart, because Thou art infinitely good. How do I dare to hope when I am so weak, so sinful and so ungrateful? Surely, I should say with Saint Peter: "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man" (Lk. 5:8). On the contrary, Thou hast told me Thyself that Thou did not come on earth to call the just, who have no need of a Saviour, but to seek out and save sinners. That is just what I am, a sinner, and it is BECAUSE I am a sinner that I put all my trust in Thee.
More than that, I am certain that Thou wilt always be with me, dwelling in my soul; as Saint Paul says, "I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom. 8:38-39).
From now on I rely entirely on Thou and fear nothing. The world, the flesh, and the devil may revolt against me, but what matter, I have Thou with me. Thou art my Emmanuel, "God with us." Thou art my All.

Act of Charity
How can I say I love Thee, my God, when I have offended Thee so often?
If I think of my life as a line, it should be a continuous line of pure love leading straight to Thee, my God, for Thou created me for no other end. Instead of this, I can see only a number of dots, few and far between, the few moments I have spent in losing Thee! Even the best of those few moments have been largely spoilt by vanity and self-seeking. What ingratitude, when Thou has done so much to win my love!
My God, here and now I surrender; Thou hast won. Thou suffered on the cross for love of me. From now on I will live for love of Thee - or at least I desire to do so.

An Act of Faith
O my God! I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three divine Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; I believe that the Divine Son became man, and died for our sins, and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou hast revealed the, Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived.

An Act of Hope
O my God! Relying on Thy infinite goodness and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of Thy grace and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.

An Act of Charity
O my God! I love Thee above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because Thou art all good and worthy of all my love. I love my neighbor as myself of love of Thee. I forgive all who have injured me and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.

An Act of Contrition
Oh my God! I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of Hell, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all good, and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.

Devotions for Holy Communion:

An Act of Faith and Adoration
My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that Thou art truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. I believe that in Holy Communion I shall receive Thy Sacred Body and Thy Precious Blood. My faith in Thy Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist is firmly founded on Thy word, O eternal Truth. My Saviour and my God, with the angels who surround Thy altar-throne, I bow down in humble adoration before Thy majesty.

An Act of Hope
Jesus, My God, Who in this wonderful sacrament hast left us a memorial of Thy passion and a pledge of future glory, I hope in Thee because Thou art infinitely good, almighty, and faithful to Thy promises. Through the merits of Thy Precious Blood I hope to obtain the pardon of my sins, the grace of final perseverance, and the everlasting happiness of heaven.
"In the shadow of Thy wings will I hope, until iniquity pass away." (Ps. 56, 2.)
"Let Thy mercy come upon me, O Lord; Thy salvation, according to Thy word." (Ps. 118, 41.)

An Act of Love and Desire
My Jesus, I love Thee because Thou art infinitely good. Thou knowest well that I love Thee, but I do not love Thee enough. Oh, make me to love Thee more! O Love which burnest always and never failest, my God, Thou Who art charity itself, come, and kindle in my heart that divine fire which consumes the saints and transforms them into Thee. Eucharistic Heart of my Jesus, Whose blood is the life of my soul, may it be no longer I that live, but do Thou alone live in me.
